Coming this spring, Brooklyn Heights will soon be home to New York's newest and most exciting neighborhood gathering spot, Ferrane bakery! With a concept that is focused on bringing delectable Swedish sandwiches & breads & pastries, along with exceptionally high-quality coffee to their patrons, while creating a community space that fosters collaboration & giving back, they are sure to quickly become a Brooklyn favorite. 

Ferrane bakery is seeking bakers to be part of a small, hard-working team in a brand new, state of the art kitchen. Bakers will have the exciting opportunity to work with a high-quality menu of baked goods developed with a team of award-winning professional bakers from Sweden. Ferrane is looking for bakers with experience in baking bread, pastries & viennoiserie - experience with a variety of baked goods is highly desired. Bakers should be dedicated to hard work, consistency, a team player attitude, and a philosophy of open & positive communication.

Our team is seeking like-minded individuals with a passion for delicious food & excellent coffee. 

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year professional culinary experience
Experience with baking - bread, croissants, and/or pastries
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Open availability to a flexible work schedule, including weekends & holidays
Bakery will be open 7 days a week & shifts begin at 4 AM
