Are you detail-oriented and passionate about customs compliance? We're looking for a Customs Brokerage Entry Writer to join our team! In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring smooth and efficient import processes while maintaining compliance with U.S. Customs regulations.

What You'll Do:
Accurately enter customs data for import shipments.
File Importer Security Filings (ISF) for ocean shipments.
Assist in product classification for customs brokerage shipments.
Handle in-bond entries and bonded shipments.
Support the Import Department with excess shipments.
Review and audit assigned brokerage files and payments to customs.
Properly classify commercial invoices using the U.S. Tariff Book and CROSS as reference tools.
Enter import AMS information and HTS codes, transmitting data to U.S. Customs.
Prepare and submit entry documentation, including 7501 and 3461 forms.
Specialize in remote location filing.
Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
Coordinate deliveries, send documentation to truckers, and follow up on Proof of Delivery (POD).
Process documents through the ABI system to obtain customs and government agency releases.
Monitor and respond to customs rejections and requests for additional information.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For:
3 to 5 years of experience in customs brokerage or a related field.
Strong knowledge of customs compliance and import regulations.
Background in freight forwarding and importation into U.S. commerce.
Experience filing entries with Partner Government Agencies (PGAs).
Proven ability to file ISFs accurately and on time.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
